Woodburn & Company assisted Daigneault and Sons Masonry and the Town of Newmarket with the landscape design for Phase 2 of the Riverwalk. The project included the installation of brick walks, flowering trees, benches, lighting, decorative railings and raised perennial beds. This small urban oasis provides a relaxing, colorful respite to stop and observe the Lamprey River and its beauty surrounded by Newmarket’s historic mills. Two weeks after completion of this project the Mother’s Day floods of 2006 covered the garden leaving the plantings submerged for days. Thanks to local efforts the garden thrives today.
